Last night Dmitry Shapiro, CEO of VEOH led the September Round Table discussion on the future of online video. Though clearly still acclimating from a one week Burning Man desert adventure, Dmitry’s lays out a picture of the industry without so much as one Power Point slide or even  a scrap sheet, using just his laser sharp mind.

One of the main takeaways of his insightful analysis is the fact the the monetization paradigm established by the media industry has been permanently disrupted by online content delivery, forcing content producers to create more and cheaper content catering to smaller and smaller niches.

The next round table will discuss Google’s new collaboration tool Google Wave.
